The world-famous Caramulo Motorfestival, equalled only by the Goodwood Festival of Speed, is one of Portugal’s premier events. Dedicated to classic cars and motorcycles, these specimens come to life every year and are put through their paces to the delight of expectant crowds.
The Caramulo Motorfestival is organised by the Museu do Caramulo and Automóvel Club de Portugal. It is the largest motorsports festival in Portugal and revolves around an event dedicated to classic and sports cars and motorcycles. It combines the competition side with a series of leisure and tourism activities.
The event programme includes the Michelin Historic Hill Climb, a 200-mile tour, a Classic Route tour, the collection of cars, motorbikes, bicycles and miniatures from Museu do Caramulo, the car fair and gaming centre, club gatherings, outdoor leisure activities, junior track, children’s playgrounds, bars and chill-out zones with music throughout the event, among other activities.
