This exhibition features works by many Portuguese and foreign artists such as Fernando Calhau, Noronha da Costa, Alberto Carneiro, Dan Graham, Hamish Fulton and Roni Horn, among others.
“The relationship between Art and Landscape has always been, throughout the history of art, a stimulus to artistic creation and to the expression of an idiosyncratic relationship between artists and the world they inhabit (…) Contemporary Art has played an important role, in particular moments of this relationship, namely through moments which have changed the concept of art object, of place and landscape, as can be seen in the selection of works” (in: exhibition’s guide).
In parallel to the exhibition, there are guided tours for schools, organised by the museum’s educational service.
This exhibition is part of the visit to the permanent collection of Museu do Caramulo, with the collaboration of Fundação de Serralves and the sponsorship of Banco Português de Negócios.
