On 11 April, the Caramulo Museum opens the temporary exhibition “Intervalos”, the result of the first cycle of White Box artist residencies. Curated by José Maçãs de Carvalho, the exhibition brings together works by Catarina Leitão, Fabrizio Matos, Daniela Krtsch and João Fonte Santa.
Inspired by the spirit of the 16th- and 17th-century Cabinets of Curiosities – precursors to the first modern museums – the exhibition offers a contemporary perspective on the logic of discovery, multiplicity and the fascination with the rare.
