The Caramulo Museum has just released the official catalogue for the exhibition ‘World War II in Living Color’, a publication that promises to extend the visitor experience beyond the museum’s galleries.
With 105 hardcover pages and a carefully edited, profusely illustrated layout, the catalogue brings together all the vehicles, parts and artefacts from the period that make up the exhibition on display in Caramulo, offering a detailed overview of the collection. Among military cars, motorcycles, transport vehicles, weapons and equipment used during the conflict, the work presents not only the technical side of the machines, but also the historical and human context in which they were created and used.
The catalogue also stands out for its photographic quality and the rigorous historical research that accompanies each piece, making it a valuable documentary record for scholars, collectors and enthusiasts of military and automotive history.
Available at the Museu do Caramulo shop and through the online store, this edition complements one of the most ambitious exhibitions organised by the institution, reaffirming the museum’s role as a national reference in the preservation and dissemination of the historical and mechanical heritage of the 20th century.
