The Museu do Caramulo has announced the incorporation of two Chinese porcelain plates from the Qing Dynasty (c. 1730), donated in memory of Maud da Conceição M. Queiroz Pereira.

The artistic and decorative quality of these pieces, together with their historical significance, not only enhances the typological representativeness of the museum’s existing collection but also offers visitors new perspectives on ceramic production during the Yongzheng period (1723–1735). This addition further consolidates the museum’s role as a historical and cultural reference.

Both the Board of Directors and the Advisory Council of the Museu do Caramulo underline the importance of this donation for the enrichment of the institution’s heritage, expressing their sincere gratitude to the Queiroz Pereira family for their generosity and enduring bond of esteem with the museum.
