The Museu do Caramulo, with the support of Standvirtual and in partnership with Jornal dos Clássicos, presents the documentary series ‘Senna e Eu’ (Senna and Me), scheduled to premiere on 22 January.
Over eight episodes, the series offers a detailed insight into the life and legacy of Ayrton Senna, a key figure in the history of Formula 1, through exclusive first-hand accounts from personalities such as Emerson Fittipaldi, Alan Mosca, Manuel de Mello Breyner and John Watson, among others. These accounts reveal not only a set of personal experiences, but also behind-the-scenes memories that testify to the intensity with which Senna built and lived his career.
Portugal occupies a prominent place in this narrative: it was at the Estoril Autodrome, on 21 April 1985, that Senna achieved his first Formula 1 victory, in a Grand Prix marked by rain and a performance that heralded a new era in the sport. The series revisits this episode and many other significant moments, underlining the importance of our country in the birth of the myth surrounding the driver.
Combining historical narrative and exclusive testimonials, ‘Senna e Eu’ promises to provide the public with an immersive experience into the life of one of the most admired drivers ever. All episodes will be presented every Thursday on the YouTube channels of Jornal dos Clássicos and Standvirtual and, later, on television, through A Bola TV.
